Membership
The Mounted Officer Training Association (MOTA) provides the highest standards of quality training and resources for mounted officer. Our staff is dedicated to providing the mounted officer with the tools and resources they need to better serve in their communities. We are committed to promoting the mounted officer and the services they render. We strive to foster a better relationship between law enforcement agencies and communities thru the use of mounted officers across the state of Arizona.

MEMBERSHIP –
MOTA has six types of voting and nonvoting memberships. All full-time law enforcement officers, reserve officers, active or retired, volunteer mounted groups, paid or volunteer civilians associated with a mounted unit, and sheriff/police posse are eligible to be members.

To qualify for a voting membership one must meet the following requirements.
Full-time law enforcement officers,
Reserve officers,
Active, retired, and paid or volunteer civilians actively participating within an active law enforcement agencies mounted unit.

Any civilian qualifies for a nonvoting membership.

Membership fees
Annual Voting (Law Enforcement) $50.00
Annual Associate Non-Voting (Private/Other) $35.00
Lifetime Voting (Law Enforcement) $500
Lifetime Associate Non-Voting (Private/Other) $400
*Agency Voting (Law Enforcement) $250
*Corporate (Private/Other) $200
*AGENCY AND CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS ARE THREE YEARS.
